we are a bit garden crazy here, but having plenty of fun.

many details and pictures at my website (see profile).

right now is finishing up the bean harvest, a few of the red peppers
are still coming along and the lima beans are going to keep flowering
and growing until we get a hard frost.

Welcome flowerbug! Looking forward to getting to know you. I'm not that computer savvy so I'm going to see if I can find your pictures.

Welcome! :frow

Wow, @flowerbug , your gardens are like something right out of a magazine! Have you been blogging long? I will have to pull it up on my laptop later so I can see the pics bigger. I love your rocks, garden art, etc. You really have an eye for what looks nice together.

@ninnymary , here's the link: http://www.anthive.com. You will really enjoy it!

thank you journey11 (and for posting the link -
i wasn't sure i should put it directly in the post
because i don't want to be nailed for spam
even if i'm not selling anything :) ).

i am not the artist here, but i help out and
consult on engineering and backtrack fixing
and trying to move water and things in the
right direction.

Mom is the arranger, i take the pictures and
edit, some based upon her desires (she likes
the close ups, i like things with more background
or context). a lot of the stonework was done
by Mom and the house was built by the now ex-step-dad.

so i guess we are a partnership/conglomeration.
i do chaos, she's very much into more control
over things. i don't like bare dirt, she'll raze a
garden and consider that nice looking. so it is
very much a yin-yang thing. :)

my project of the month is redoing the first
strawberry patch, replacing the clay subsoil
and lowering the garden so it is easier to
care for. moving dirt, building up another area
so it is easier, moving rocks to make that
possible, making the garden where the decayed
wood chips are coming from larger so i can have
more beans next year. so one project is actually
more like three or four.

going to be busy later this week when things
dry out a bit more.

i've been taking pictures and have had the website
for quite a few years, but only finally got it redone
so it was easier to add things to this past spring. my
background is computer science but i'm not working in
that field any longer so i'm not really pushing it as a
thing i want to sink a lot of time into. i do admit that
i like how the new layout turned out.
