Hello. We recently purchased a home with 3/4 of an acre and we are looking forward to getting our garden going in the spring. We have done container gardening and plan to do that again. We also have orange, grapefruit, lemon, and pomegranate trees. This looks like a great site for information.

Wow, Southern California sounds pretty good right now. Is your area kind of arid? I mean even before the recent draught? The only time I was in SoCal, I saw a beautiful succulent garden, where humungous old aloes and other succulents and cacti grew. Desert-like.
If so, you have an interesting area to garden in. I envy you the citrus trees!
Welcome to this forum. Lots of good info here.
