Hen & Chicks Flowering

Well, I never knew they got flowers?! Doing some reading it said 'some' will flower and then that plant is spent and dies. Usually these occurs at 4-5 years old?

I just bought these plant this past spring, so I must have bought an older bunch because I have one that sent out a stem and it has a cluster of buds all over it. I will get pictures to share of course. I just never knew they flowered, so pardon my shock!

Mine have flowered many times- never knew the 4-5 year thing... Mine seem to come back in the spring- maybe they reseed??

I have one at least 10 years old that flowers every year.

Mine flower every year but for the amount of plants, I don't get very many flowers. Just a couple.

Well good to hear that, I never knew and i was thinking something was wrong with that plant until I looked it up. I guess the info I found wasn't totally correct, so I'm glad I came here to double check. Awesome!
