Horse versus lizard

Looking at the family tree ... while both the lizard and the aligator are Reptilia ... the lizard is in the order Squamata , but the aligtor is in the order Crocodilia. They may look similar , but not the same critter.

Did she just whine, "Just leave him alone!"????? Beautiful horses! Beautiful horse protecting the young in the herd, doing what it's supposed to do....leave him alone?????? I wonder what she would have said if she walked up on that gator chewing on that foal?

Yes, that's what it sounded like! I'm guessing gators take a few younger ones.
