how beautiful everything is right now, in late February. I love the way everything looks, and smells. The whole world is alive- and then it is winter. Boy, if I could bottle this feeling, I would be a lot happier in the snow and ice!

...although, at the same time, if only I could remember NOW (or moreso next month and August) what it feels like in late February, with the air all crisp and cold and it feels *good* to sit in a sunbeam

(Me too, though. I seem utterly unable to really remember what other seasons are like. I know them intellectually of course but right now I just can't imagine what it FEELS like for it to be January here and all white and bare branches and salty roads, and -20 F with a hard wind. Just as in January I just really don't get what the place could possibly be like all warm and green )

Oh I know the feeling, the amazing wave of content that over sweeps you as you are sitting on the deck taking in the smells carried through the warm air. When the heat of the day subsides and the cool evening air rolls in... then those new scents start up from the evening bloomers. The stars start coming out and the fireflies blink along the trees and you still don't want to go in or have the overwhelming calm you are holding on to to be gone yet.

Yeah, you could package that up for $1000 a pop, and I'd be buying come November!!!!
