Sorry for the month long absence. One day when I tried to log in it asked for my password (which was the first time in ages) and it was sending the lost password message to my terminated email! About this time as well I was having some health issues and busy with doctor's appointments and work and what not. But hopefully it is all under control now and I have the day off so I figured I better get this TEG thing figured out. I have been keeping up with the threads though! I just haven't been able to comment. I am happy to be able to participate once again :D

Welcome back HotPepper!

I sure know what it's like to have technical issues to get into our forum here!!!

Yesterday when i went to Ukiah for shopping I also went to Staples to purchase a brand new laptop which will ONLY be used to get into theeasygarden. That's right, 220 bucks for a little Acer Chromebook.

Some virus thing has this laptop I am now using LOCKED OUT of www.theeasygarden.com and so right now I'm using a proxy server to be here!

My new laptop should arrive tomorrow at Ukiah for me to drive there to pick it up.

My best guesses are a person around here used this laptop and installed a camouflaged embedded virus url or ip blocker.
Maybe it was from when I clicked an ad for a toolbar that slowed things down so I uninstalled that toolbar and it had a punishment virus.
It is possible it was a remote install.

At any rate, this laptop still remains good, but I really have to have one that works here. Proxy servers have to be changed every few hours of use.

Well so far I have plans for adding a new raised bed for just onions. I'll be trying melons this year for the first time in ages. It's manure year- yay! So I have been calling around to get some more cow poo for spring- I haven't dumped any in there for years and last fall I tilled up a new bed that has absolutely nothing in it except sugar sand. I need some peat for my raised beds to loosen them up a bit. I have been saving my loose change for two months to buy a tiller and i'm already $200 in (who knew change could add up so fast?) Oh and I placed my last seed order a couple days ago. Let's see what else.......in unrelated garden news, my first batch of meat birds will be arriving in two weeks! Yikes!

I just posted in the "what will you be growing this year" thread of everything i'll be growing. It's quite a list- hopefully I can keep up!!!

ETA: I have also been obsessed with knitting lately to try and cure these winter blues. I'll try to post pictures of some of my projects soon.

Excellent! Looks like you will have plenty to dream about, until the snow melts! I would love to see what you are knitting...

And we are glad you are!

"Goliath Jalapeno" & "Giant Jalapeno" . ?! :p Your list on what will be in the garden this year reminded me that I have to order Jalapeno M seed!
