As the title suggests, I am on a mission to find seeds for these peppers. I am in southeast Michigan and have oodles of varieties of all sorts of crops for trade.
If you have a Rural King nearby you might look there. They carry Livingston seeds. I don't remember seeing that variety of pepper but I wasn't really looking at the peppers so it may be a crapshoot.
I want to think they are called "big red" now. I grow them every year, from saved seeds, most definitely open pollinated, they grow true year after year. Blocky thick fleshed and sweet as can be. I eat them right off the plant. They are awesome, sliced or diced bagged and frozen. and... stuffed red peppers so versatile to cook with.
Agreed. RK sells Livingston seeds. You could contact them and send them your photo above and see if @HoleySmokes is right. Good luck!
I know that I Just started my sweet pepper seeds this weekend and they take F O R E V ER to sprout.
