Good strategy Phaedra. Community building is key. I wish you lived next door to me!
Yes, the advertisement on the local newspaper charges minimum 600 Euros for posting once. I don't think that will leave any impression...

Today, we sent a box of cake rolls and some sweet bread buns to the police station in our town, and provide a special offer for police - Buy a piece of cake, and get a cup of coffee for free.

I will draft some similar offers for healthcare workers and teachers soon. :D

Guess what? The Lidl in our town gave the plants they can't sell on time (before next batch plants arrive) to customers for FREE!

FINALLY!!! There is a shop doing things right.

The plants are in very good shape, and we also brought back two Phalaenopsis and one tray of the Dianthus back, so happy.

Warmed up, @baymule ?

You can't eat those slices straight off the refrigerator shelf?

Phaedra's goodies (& even photos) would brighten anyone's morning.

I’m having my morning coffee and that looks delicious! I’m pretending I’m having a slice of your cake instead instead of this warmed up leftover slice of pizza.
That's a good idea baymule! I'm going to imagine that too when I drink my coffee this morning! 😋
