Take this basic recipe...
"Kale Chips adapted from Stacie Billis at ChowMama.com

1 bunch organic kale, torn into 1/2″ pieces
3 tablespoons organic olive oil
1 tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons sea salt

Preheat oven to 400 F. Whisk oil and vinegar and toss kale in the dressing until thoroughly coated.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Place kale on sheet in a single layer and sprinkle with salt.

Bake for 15 minutes or so, until crispy.

I baked mine at 350 to make sure I didn't burn them. Then, as soon took the chips out of the oven, I sprinkle powdered parmesan all over them.

A woman in a grocery store told that was the only way her children would eat kale. Soon after it comes out of the oven its gone!

Going to try it as soon as I have enough to pick, can't wait!:drool

I tried this recently, and believe it or not I put TOO MUCH OLIVE OIL! I didn't know there could be such a thing. But if I try it again, the parmesan sounds like a great addition.

These are so yummy! I made a version of them last year. The only problem is that my honey and I sit there and eat the whole batch!

Freemotion the kale hater made some and reported back that she ate the whole batch :D

Now I can't wait to get back to the farmer's market on Saturday to get more kale!

I didn't plant kale, but I think I will try it with swiss chard- just need to let it grow a little bigger...
