wow Jackb, those are alot of laurel leaves you harvested. You said your plants are a couple years old, do you know how many exactly? Do they grow slow or fast? I wonder if they would do well here in the bay area.

Mary,
I know they are at least three years old, but time goes by so quickly. They are so hardy they would most likely grow pretty much anywhere in the US.

I don't know why I never planted one. Both the bay laurel and california bay grow easily here in San Diego.
