Lenten Rose - leaves dying

I planted 2 of these last year. They are blooming like mad - but their leaves are turning brown. Any ideas?
They are along a fence, shaded by pine trees from direct light, but get lots of filtered light.

Not to worry Cane. Those are last years old leaves dying. Cut them off at the base so they don't detract from the pretty blooms and all the fresh foliage coming out. It's completely normal.
That's a pretty color bloom!
