do you ever get emails from them on how to preserve the harvest in a root cellar? every time i see something about using a root cellar it's mostly about how to build one & not how to prep the items for storage.

Oh hey! Those are links to information and that isn't just a book advertisement!

I save some seed but I'm fairly casual about it. Certainly, I'm not up to doing any hybridizing.

There's a book by Carol Depe on breeding vegetables. It's been around quite a while and seemed to be one of the early ones on that subject.

Fedco Seed has information on seed saving. I think that's kinda nice since the practice might cut into their sales.

I can look through my saved emails. I have an entire folder titled homesteading with all the Ogden emails worth keeping in it.
