Not as many tomatoes as in years paste (spelling intentional). ;) All but one are from saved seed, the year listed is when last grown. DW & I lean more toward paste varieties than slicers; still, it just worked out that there is only one slicer this year - and that one is "iffy". I may decide to pick up another heirloom slicer from a local greenhouse (they actually carry quite a few) but probably no monsters this year. :(

Cipolla's Pride (red paste) 2015
Elfin (red grape) 2021
Gilbert Italian (red paste) 2012
* Gogosha (pink slicer) 2006
* Hungarian Heart (pink oxheart) 2015
Italian Giant Pear (red paste/sauce) 2015
Japanese Plum (pink sauce/paste) 2015
Salus (very early red paste) 2012
Snickers ("black" sauce/paste) 2014
Willie's Garden (yellow/orange, new trial)

* = Hungarian Heart is a backup, if no germination for Gogosha

Gogosha is a good enough variety that I may replace it in the future, if nothing germinates. I'm still pretty far behind in my seed saving due to the two lost years (hence some of the seed ages) so not much room for new trials. Some equally old varieties didn't make the cut, and could not be grown. Furthermore, with DW & I scaling back the garden, we won't be growing as many tomatoes in the future. These varieties may end up dying before I can grow them again, or being cut; so if anyone is interested in any of them, send me a PM & I'll send a good amount of seed:

Cambron Orange (mid-sized orange, very similar to the Nicoviotis Orange that I grew last year) 2014
Orange Beef Heart (orange oxheart type) 2015
Orange Centiflor Cherry (pointed orange cherry, HUGE flower clusters) 2015
Southern Pride (mid-sized yellow slicer) 2015
Yellow Pasta (determinate, short-DTM, high-yielding yellow sauce/paste) 2014
Green Sausage (determinate Roma type, green when ripe) 2015
Wolford Wonder (large pink oxheart) 2015
Cherry Roma (indeterminate, red, similar to Grape) 2012
Novochoc (semi-determinate, red plum paste) 2014
Quebec 1121 (determinate, short DTM, red Roma-like paste) 2012

@Artichoke Lover I'll be interested in your results on two of those. I grew Big Daddy in Arkansas. I liked it, a big productive paste type tomato. Very little splitting or blossom end rot. I often had issues with BER with paste tomatoes so that was a good find for me.

I found yellow pear to have a lot of problems with both splitting and blossom end rot. They were extremely productive but if I got 10% of what grew I did well. I thought the taste was kind of bland too but a friend that did not garden liked them so I always grew some for him. Other types of tomatoes grown right next to them did not have BER but it was a consistent problem for yellow pears every year. Hopefully you will have better luck with them.

@Ridgerunner I’ll definitely let you know the results. I’m glad to here the Big Daddy ones did well. Yellow pear is definitely a novelty tomato so I don’t mind only getting a few. Any that spilt will go to the chickens. The rooster actually stalks me to try steal tomatoes out of my basket in summer.:gig
