My compost piles so far...

I started this one back in March this is the oldest pile, most of its rotted and I thought it could do with some more cooking but my mom swiped some for her grapevines So that's why it's small looking ^_^


And this is the newest pile, I mowed the lawn today so I put two big bags full of grass into it and I need to rake more leafs to pile onto it as soon as the rain lets up one day here in Florida.

Do you have chickens? They LOVE leaves and grass and will make your compost for you.

Nope, our chickens were killed. I'm fine just raking leafs,mowing grass and turning it every few days and watering it.

Yep moms have the right to swipe what ever they want. When eating the grapes think it was your compost that make them taste so good.
