great to see your spring has sprung down there! i think we're still a couple weeks behind you here in NH. though i did see a couple dandelion leave clusters trying to poke through the leaf litter this week. a couple more weeks & those will be blooming here. :\

noticed the maple trees are getting red buds swelling so i expect those to open this week.

I saw one buttercup on a walk along the river last week. South slope, full sun ...

We are late setting up the hoophouse in the backyard. Yesterday, as we are readying the beds and putting the hoops in, I asked DW, "Is it always this cold when we are doing this?"

Today, there has to be sunshine and no winds so that the plastic film will go on easily. I'm hoping!

Lovely hellebores Waretrop! :) They may be common but are not less beautiful for it.

The sweet little Spring Beauties are blooming in my yard as well as my cultivated hyacinths. The tulip leaves have emerged, but no buds yet.

How can you have no luck with hellebore Nyboy? They grow like dandelions around this area. Some of them even reseed like crazy.
Maybe they don't like clay soil...?
