Does anyone have a good source for apple trees? We'd like to plant one Granny Smith and one Arkansas Black, which should cross-pollinate. We're in Arkansas, so something fairly local would be best.

They are not local to you or me, but I can't say enough nice things about Trees of Antiquity. They always send really good-sized trees that take off growing like mad. Nice big roots on them, good graft unions, nice vigorous things even on dwarf stock.

Only problem with them, you have to order super-early. Like, you have to put 2009 orders in around August 2008. They still have SOME stuff, but a lot of the really awesome ones are gone by now. In case you wanted a super-rare cinnamon-flavored apple or something. ;)
