Hi everyone,

I just found out about this site and look forward to getting to know everyone here. I adore plants so much that if I stood still too long I would grow roots.

Hope everyone is having a nice extended Spring this year.

Welcome, Auntie Ron! :)

I think a lot of us have been transplanted :D from BYC's.

What a pretty area you have there, and a gorgeous dog, too! :)

I am also a transplant from the BYC forum. However, I have been a gardener all my life. I am NEW to being a chicken mom!

Hey Auntie Ron - I am an old BYC member too, and I remember reading a lot of your posts. I haven't had chickens for a few years now (moved and still don't have a coop) but have always checked into BYC and when I found this new sister site, I registered right away. I recall some of the pictures you posted of your gardens/property, and they were gorgeous. You should be in your glory here!

Welcome friend and happy gardening!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome,

I have had a day or two now to read more posts here and I am absolutely amazed at how knowledgeable you all are.

I cannot wait to see more of everyone's gardens.

Here are some of the iris that I had this spring. Sadly they are all finished for the year.

I cannot wait until next spring since I added several new colors.

Take care, Ron

Your garden is beautiful!! I am really not an ornamental-grasses person, and usually can kind of take or leave roses, too, but I absolutely LOVE the way you've used them in your garden in that first photo. That is absolutely the best use of grasses (to my taste) that I have ever seen, the way the whole thing 'comes together'. Wow :)
