The preservation orchard is off to the southwest and south of Portland Oregon. Molalla. That name struck a chord, a Native American chord
. Before I said something about the Molalla and their relatives who they referred to as "The People of the Serviceberry," I decided to check the term. Yes, Leslie Spier ethnographic study from the 1920's. And, maybe just because Google knew that it was me doing the looking -- up jumps a link to TEG!
