Ok, what is this flower..

I have this flower that I have no idea what it is, any I idea?
It gets a tall spike of yellow flowers that are about the size of a pencil erasers..
when I say tall I mean 6 foot +

That looks a lot like the wild lambs-ear that grows all over my garden. In the spring it has yellow flower spikes that are easily 6 feet tall. I'm in GA and was told it was a native weed.
