Picking Up Truck Tonight And Not On A Flatbed

Got the call i been waiting for " when you want to pick up truck its ready". nephew is taking me after work, it will be my first time driving it. Still needs paint job and interior done, but all gauges and am radio work !!!!!!

Did not go as planned Got about mile down road and noticed transmitting wasn't changing gears; tired to make u turn to bring back, front tires went off rode and got stuck then engine flooded. Called mechanic he came got truck strated drove back to his place agreed tranny not working. I am a little upset I paid him over $8,000 he never took truck for test drive. My nephew picking up with flatbed and bringing to transmission shop. I just cant get a break with this truck

Was he to fix transmission? If so, should be his bill.

No we never talked about tranny. Only driving he did was in and out of garage.
