I had one of those growing in the back yard as a kid. Never knew what it was until a few years ago. I never forgot the beautiful blooms with the sweet petals.

Thank you Smart Red and Carol Dee. I grow 5 differnt kinds of passinvine/fruit. Three being very big and tasty. This flower sets fruit but they are small and fair to eat at best. The Fejoas(pineapple guavas) can make good edible hedges and can handle a freeze here with no problems at all. They are very hard to start from cuttings(needing lots and lots of water) but are priced nicely so you can get a fairly big bush for less than 20 dollars. I have about 8 but I like to plant a couple together for even better pollenation
