That's so true Mary, those kids are always going to remember how potatoes grow. What fun for them!

Not yet, we just picked them. Will make some french fries for their lunch this week.

Yes!!! Teach them young & let the kids taste them, they'll carry the touch long after we're all gone. That what grandpa did with me.
I love it when I hear my kids talking about all the stuff we grow. One of them even mentioned Ghost Peppers! No, we don't grow those. We grow S h i ****o peppers though. ;)

Yes!!! Teach them young & let the kids taste them, they'll carry the touch long after we're all gone. That what grandpa did with me.

For sure my grandma passed when I was 12 my best thoughts and memories of her were in her garden. Next year it will be 40 yrs and still think of her often.
