We had a very dry spring underground sprinklers never turned on for season. Lost plants clay soil baked to cement. July 2 sprinkler company services and turns on. Billed almost $300. This July is 3 rd wettest since early 1900s when They started keeping track. There is a rain gage doubt sprinkler ever came on in July

Yes have you ever seen under ground sprinklers on in the rain. When I was a kid only the houses in the wealthy part of town had underground sprinklers. I use to think what a luxury they where ( Parents house yard so small 1 sprinkler form caldor covered whole yard)

Are you getting soaked ? Weather maps are showing the NE as pretty wet. We are VERY dry. On the verge of calling it a drought!
