Hello Everyone,

Rod in N Nevada. Zone 7 (HOT SUMMERS).

Retired several years now. Crossed 70, heading on up to bigger & better.

Got yard started. No grass. Front rocked but grass bits here & there.
Want no grass, just either rocks & paths or mounds with plants (herbs, trees, shrubs, climbers, etc). Fill in the blanks.

Currently got 3 surviving trees (Crape Myrtle, Gingo and a (forgot)) & few Wild Flowers from mix.
Getting started.
Project to run irrigation with timers.

Hey, tapped off Evap Cooler pump line to circulate fresh water into system. It holds down corrosion and drips off back gutter. Fills large wash tub in couple 3 hours.
Cool, clear, water.

Might put in small pools/brook in future, to dip in to cool down with frogs amongst the lilly pads and rushes.

Well thanks for letting me in.
Look forward to relations.

Hello Rod, :frow
-- And welcome to the forum from British Columbia! That's a LOT of snow in the January photo. You certainly garden with extremes in Nevada. I look forward to watching your gardening journey through the page of The Easy Garden.
