Sandy causes gas shortage

Here in NY their are lines 6 blocks long for gas. Many people wait over 2 hours in line only to have gas station run out of gas. It is so bad every open gas station now have police cars to keep the peace. Fiights are breaking ou,t people are pulling guns, station are only taking cash. This is more scarey then the storm. I have a full tank of gas but am afraid to drive anywhere.

These things bring out the worst in some people and the best in others.

I went through a few of these on the Gulf Coast. Your first goal is to survive, which you did, then go forward as best you can. Be careful and good luck.

This is just a small picture of the anarchy we would face in the event of national or global catastrophe. I would stay at home or drive only to participate in any help that you are able to give. A friend of a friend had to rescue her 90 year old mother and her brother and his family who were left homeless. Thank God for loved ones.
