So we FINALLY have gotten new siding (I've been waiting 4 years for this moment)! I'm very excited to really landscape the beds around the house. I have a giant bed that is on the western side of the house (6+ hours of sunlight per day) that I need shrubs for. It tends to be dry and hot in the summer time. The soil drains well, and is in pretty good shape. What suggestions do you guys have?
