Steer Poop compost blend

Hi, I just bought a steer poop compost blend. It says for veggies and flowers. Can I add this to my planter boxes and plant veggies immediately or should I give it some time to do its stuff?

It should be fully composted by the time you purchase it, therefore it should be ready for ammending your soil right away.
