The sun is shining. The temp is hovering in the 60s. The birds are singing up a storm. Baby, Spring is finally HERE!

I think I feel this way every Spring--like I am launching a great new adventure. I'm all excited and eager to start. Everything looks fresh and enticing on paper and THIS YEAR I am finally gonna get it RIGHT! The flowers are gonna bloom perfectly. The new fruit crop is gonna be delectable. My veggies are gonna pop right up, all tasty and delicious every one! Ahhh! It's gonna be a wonderful growing season!

Of course, by August I am probably gonna feel somewhat jaded and dejected, but right now I am on top of the world!

:D I know how you feel! It's 8 degrees celcius out today, GORGEOUS sunny day! The horses are munching on hay, the ducks and chickens are foraging, the goats are a goating..

The only thing that is ruining this gorgeous early spring day is the snow on the ground and the mud I'm starting to see in my horse pasture :( but I'll live, and so will the horses...

Getting my raised beds in, animal sheds cleaned, fencing planned, and spring vegetables thought about.

Yep, feeling springy here to. It is a beautiful sunny day, 46 degrees. I have been outside all day, picking up the yard, sticks, stray garbage, kids toys. Raked out my hollyhock bed, they are starting to green up, little green leaves at the bottom. Cleaned out my herb garden too. CLeaned off the patio, swept and put the table and chairs out.
Taking a break now...had to get my fill today, it is suposed to thunderstorm here tomorrow and rain most of the week.

Happy Spring everyone,
Christie :coolsun
