@baymule gave me some Thai # (2? 3? I can't remember now!) Long Beans last year, and this year they actually produced something! I stuck them in the most unfertalized, untouched corner of my garden and BOOM! Huge beans!

So many! x.x

Just finished freezing 8-9 cups of beans and thought I'd give an update on them. :D Also: Mr. Helpful approved!

My pole beans have been disappointing, so far.

Since half are volunteers, I try to blame them for their dry corner location. It's not fair and weather conditions have been rough even for beans. It's lucky for the bush beans that they are closer to the sprinklers. Right now, some are deciding if they are up to a second crop ... meanwhile, in the little veggie garden - a second sowing is just about to come into bloom!

A favorite veggie since I was a child. Tugging at the heart, string beans ...

:) Steve
