@Dahlia very interesting a ghost apple variety you found. How Exciting is that ‼️ I had to look ghost apples up I hadn’t heard of the term before, other than one encased in ice. I found an interesting article about the apple orchards on San Juan. Thought maybe you would enjoy reading a short tid bit great info. A bit of PNW history.

Interesting read - thx for sharing! When I was a kid living in CA, we had so many apple orchards around our house, lots of which were Gravenstein. Excellent apple to pick off the trees and enjoy!

I’m getting Apple tree fever. Texas is not exactly Apple country, but there has to be some out there that would survive here.

high heat and droughts are tough on them up here i can't imagine it will be easy to keep them alive down there, but i hope you can find some that will survive. :)
