heh, we all have a few special chickens in our flocks. everyone has their own personality and quirky traits. i have a 4 month old cockerel who thinks i his momma and will try to fly up to my arms when he gets picked on or thinks he is going to be. he's the spoiled child of the bunch (more spoiled than Chickie). his real momma taught him i was a 'safe' zone and when she started booting his behind away he kept running to me and keeps doing it. if i bend over to do something in the coop he flies to my behind and will run up my back to my shoulder when i try to stand up straight. thank goodness he's going to be a bantam and not a 10 pounder! this one was originally called Cecilia but when the male coloring started coming in it changed to CC (crazy chicken). his momma, Etta May, likes to get to my shoulders and if i'm wearing my hooded sweatshirt will snuggle into the hood and stay there till i'm done with chores. she's the ONLY chicken allowed on my shoulders.
