I was thinking yesterday how the mail lady complemented my picket fence with its brick posts back when it was new. I pointed out how my rails weren't straight. She said, "Oh well, we always see things like that but no one else does."

She was right. In this country where appearance makes so much difference, some criticize themselves. Harshly. I just thought personal appearances aren't all that important but I know, they can be and that's just me thinking . . .

Here is the latest Dove commercial: Dove project "Sketches" uses forensic artist

And, does that guy look like George Clooney ;)?

He does! He could sketch me anytime! :p

I can accept that we tend to view ourselves more critically than others do. But why, when I suddenly see my reflection in a store window or unexpected mirror, do I immediately think "Who's that wrinkled old lady?" It's never "Hey, not bad for 64!" I guess when I am expecting to see myself in the mirror, I unconsciously straighten up and put on a pleasant face, which, in my mind, takes years off my appearance.

If you think I'm stupid, you should see my brother. He's bent waaay over!

Hahahahahaha! My dad always told that joke :p!
