Anyone have a recipe? I'm trying one now. Lot of good reviews but a a lot of people tweaked it to make it good. One reviewer got mad because they did. Oh joy.

If it is easy, quick, that is bonus..... Oh yes, and one you don't have to do lot of measuring-like I would anyway.

seedcorn, it's not that difficult to make tomatoe soup. Saute chopped onions and garlic. Add chopped tomatoes and cook down, maybe 30 minutes. Put in blender and return to pot. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, around 2 tablespoons butter, salt and pepper to taste. You decide how much cream to add depending on how healthy you want to be.

Basically what I did. Was good. Although used stick blender, didn't get real smooth but it was good.

No milk or cream. Recipe called for clove. Love cloves in Italian food.

seedcorn, I use the stick blender also. Cream and butter make a big difference. Try it if you can have them. I use very little chicken broth cause I like my soup thick.
