Weight Watchers

Obsessed, this is so cool that you have a chance to change your life and influence your children's- with healthy eating habits. I wish you well- you are on the road to a new you!!! I lost 28 pounds on WW. It is a great program if you need accountability (which I do). I had to quit going because of finances. I wish you great success and congratulations for beginning.
 
Steve - I also think that gardening is a work out but lately physically it has become demanding. mOstly cause of the weight. I gained 40 pounds in two years from working a seditary job. where as I always had a more physical job and was in school I was able to move more. But now my back hurts my hip hurts I hurt. And that is what is making me make this change.

I feel so young(30) to hurt so much. And now I am out of breath ....
 
Exercise can help to a point, but weight gain is usually due to diet. I am not necessarily talking about calories either. High fructose corn syrup is uniquely fattening. Unfortunately it is is many many foods...even things like canned tomatoes.
