@thistlebloom, My fences are 2 strands of electric wire.. so smaller goat = walk under or between. :gig
@ninnymary, I currently have about 4 acres of pasture. I've been looking at all that empty, usused space since I lost my last horse. A cow just seemed to be a good replacement - use the land, and provide something for me (besides something 'close' to that horse smell)

Thistle, get out of cane's head. Mini-horses or mini-anything there isn't an animal that lives on air practically, literally, or realistically. That new cow she can use. A goat, llama, sheep, alpaca. . . she can use. Unless she intends to take up the horse and buggy for hauling manure around her four acres, a mini-horse just eats like a horse and needs daily care and attention.

Cane, get a mini quick! Before you get too logical! Lol!

I have a mini and he really is practically an air fern compared to the "real" horses in my life.

Anyhow, that ol' cow is going to need daily care and attention too. She'll just have more love to spread around.

OH! Not only love! MANURE too!
