Garden Master
We've worked in the garden this week, getting an early start for the 2018 garden. We finished a PVC coop and put it in the garden. We transferred some EE pullets and a rooster. We'll be letting them range in the garden this winter.
We weeded the collards, lavished some sheep manure love on them and mulched with wood chip compost. We put up a green mesh fence to keep the chickens out and sprinkled Azomite rock dust on them for the trace minerals.
We pulled up frost killed tomatoes.
I dug out the sheep shed/lot and pulled my wagon to the garden.
I dumped load after load in the tomato trellis. We dusted it with Azomite. In the top picture, next to the chicken coop, is a stack of pumpkin boxes. We will lay them out in the tomato trellis and cover with wood chip mulch.
