Can I plant Morning Glories near chickens?

I want to plant some morning glories near the chickens but I read that all parts of them are poisonous. Do you think the seeds would get near the chickens? I plan to plant them a couple feet away from their run.

They will munch on them, though (at least mine do). Just a warning.

Chickens are smarter than you think. They will seldom eat enough of a dangerous plant to harm themselves. I think the LSD factor in the seeds has more to do with perrenial than annual morning glories.
