A Hawaiian Papaya plant (from Roberta's, of course)!

I've been a big Papaya eater for a long time, and have been searching for a nice palm to take home for an even longer time. Well, now I do(will). They should arrive the 8th. Wish me luck!

Yes, I do plan to grow them outside. We don't get frost where I live (zone 10).

I'll be sure to get some pics on here when they arrive.

Those are soooo.... good when they are perfectly riped! I usually pay $3-4.00 for one. But it's worth the price.

I got the shipping date wrong. They said they'll ship whenever it is time to grow them in my zone. I just checked the estimated delivery date...The papayas should arrive May 20th.

Yumm, I wonder how they will taste compared to the wild ones that grow in our area.
My DML used to go searching for them along the creek banks where we used to live. Very good, but unique taste
