I just came across a fun website. It has only been around a little while and is called: "Small House Bliss (link)."

If you want to see what got me there, scroll down to La Arboleda retreat cabin. You can click on that and go thru the picture gallery.

Now, I ask you: Do we really need more than that? I mean, maybe for 2+ people, a few more square feet but, really, shouldn't that be about it?

Steve :)

I wouldn't need more than that to live in, but I would need a pretty good size building for my stuff. A lot of my stuff I could live without, but where would I store my canner, winter clothes, fabric scraps, stored food?
We can extoll the virtues of living smaller, but it just takes so many.....accessories.... to live a simpler life. What a paradox!

That is what a good tight storage room in the barn is for . . . ;)

I have lived long enuf with basements that I think of all homes with them. Altho', I could live above my garage or, a deli :p.

Of course, there is off-site storage but really, these small places appeal to my longing to simplify. And, if my living space (i.e., room to move) is taken up with what should be elsewhere, I feel confined. I need space !
