Nope. Chard that overwintered isn't that far away but that's about it for a while. I've still got a bunch of stuff in the freezer and canned in the pantry so I can hold on, but it is nice to get something fresh.

Hey guys, always take a woman with sharp eyes along with you for asparagus hunts. Something about how wimin have better color vision to spot asparagus, you wind up finding 3 or 4 times as many!

Course, none of it makes it home to cook. Winds up all getting eaten raw.

Steamed some fresh asparagus, for the first time ever, just the other day that I bought from the grocery store that I work at.......Yep, gonna HAVE to, some time in the near future, put in an asparagus bed.

Had those first two tonight, steamed. They sure looked lonely in that dish but I opened a bottle of wine to celebrate the first fresh vegetable of the season.

Hooray! I have a couple up now, so hopefully in a year or two they'll really be rolling.
