I keep digging it up in my beds. It should be studied by NASA bc even a tiny piece will regenerate into a new plant! I don't even burn it, just make sure that it gets buried deep in my garage garbage bag and ends up in a landfill far, far away.
I need to address some seed pods that are hanging on my pasture fence bc they will make themselves an army of morning glory/bindweed!!!!!

i posted that over 5 years ago... now it would be 10 years since any Morning Glories were let to go to flowers on that fence.

not as many seeds are sprouting but they are still there.
I grew Morning Glories for the first time this year. Should I be worried about that??

i dunno... if you grew them someplace where they can spread and you don't care or if you mow around that area all the time or...

did you get a lot of flowers? :)

Not a lot of flowers, but they're sure pretty. I think the mix may have been Sunrise Blend, from Botanical Interests.

GET RID OF THEM!!!
Lots of invasives send runners underground. Mint is one of them. I have N.E.V.E.R. Had a problem with mint spread.
You pull up where you don't want it and it doesn't run Fast enough to be out of control.
Morning glories ARE a tamer bindweed. IF you leave it too long it will grow roots that you cannot dig out and you will never get rid of it without poisoning.

some are annuals and so they only come back from seeds and i'm glad for that because i'd be in even more trouble if they were perennial! we did have some wild type that was perennial that i had to take out by hand - quite a challenge as there were a lot of decorations and covered perennial gardens in that area but i got it all out and it never came back. *whew!*
