Thanks everyone! :D I go to pick up the new hens tonight so hopefully they'll be happy in there.

Marshall, it tips up like a wheelbarrow and has fencing on the bottom, so I can move it without having to take the chicks out. Although I'll probably lock them in the coop part for fear of damaging little toes.

That's what I was wondering about. It'd be too easy to set it down and hurt their feet. Putting them in the 2nd floor for moving looks safest.

Sweet! our coop started out with a shipping crate, but it still looks like a shipping crate! Mow I'm inspired to do something more.....

I was chatting with Hayley, marshallsgirl, who is waaaaaaaaayyy down under, so far away it's 6 hours earlier tomorrow there...but hittin the hay now :p
