Hey - I am in the Hampton, Virginia, USA. I am in zone 8. What got me was easy. I am always looking for easy. Don't mind hard if the instructions on how to successfully do HARD are clear. My passion is propagation - all types- seeds, air layering, root cuttings, stem cuttings, soil blocking, aerogardening, hydroponic. I just learned about leaf cutting propagation (african violets) I am excited. I have not been successful at grafting. Maybe a few more Youtubes or I need a face to face class/workshop with human interaction! Right now I am seed starting veggies for a Spring Plant Sale. I have winter sowed. Did it again last month all native plants - my other interest! I am removing some non-natives and adding more natives so my yard is more balanced and pollinator friendly/inviting. Planted a bunch of spring blooming bulbs 2 weeks ago. Will start pruning my fruit trees mid February.

Welcome to the forum from the Pacific Northwest! That is cool that you are focusing on native plants!

Welcome from southwestern B.C.! I am very curious about propagating with root cuttings and leaf cuttings but have never tried those techniques, so I look forward to learning more about your methods.
