Radiation sickness can actually be treated by drinking a lot of iodine, if I remember that right.

Is this a kindness?
Or a desperate man's way of dealing with his devistating losses?
What is the best use of limited resources? Feeding cattle (that can not be used for food) until they die of old age (or radiation).
Who will care for him (and them) when he can no longer do it?
Is it possible...... that we've been taught to fear radiation more than necessary???? What if they all live to ripe old ages and die of fatty livers or something?????

I do think the cows should be put down, but not by starvation. Quick painless way.
