I use straw, leaves, grass clippings and coffee grounds. Getting 15 gallons of coffee per week from a local coffee drive thru. Hope it works as well as everyone says it does. I had a soil test done by Clemson and everything was in the high category after 2 years of sheet mulching, they didn't show nitrogen, but everything was lush last year and I have added many bags of grass clippings and coffee grounds.

I keep chickens and ducks, so I compost the coop pine shavings for the next year's garden. In addition to a compost pile, in the fall I just dump the coop contents on the areas for planting in the spring and it composts beautifully over the winter.
