Isn't that just the most beautiful thing!

My carrots typically start peeling underground, but several are nice fat snubs; you must have some very soft ground to produce such wonders.

Thank you for sharing. When is dinner? :p:p

How did you plant these? Do you do anything special to your soil as far as keeping it loose to allow them to grow?

Ditto - give us details! Many have a hard time with carrots, so what is the secret?

(Just as important - can I help you market it? ;) )

i think probably that is big enough we all could have a share .. i also planted some danver seeds, but i pulled one up to check on it there wasnt even any orange to it .. lots of green tops, but i may have crowded them out .. lesson learned ..
thanks for sharing!

this is the first year i ever did carrots. when i planted them i tried to make them in a nice straight line and they ended up coming up every were. also i never thinned them out either i just kept them watered and i never did anything to the soil i just tilled it and made some rows. but when they started to grow i took the tip of my finger and went around the top of the carrot moving a little bit of the dirt. so i could see the head of it and that was it. other then that i have no idea what else i did.

but next year i am going to watch carefully! and make some notes.
