well have received 2 estimates for putting on a new roof..1st one 10,719.00 and 5,650.00<hes my roofer from work> humm wonder who i'm going with....
we are going with 35 year shasta white shingles, removing all the 750 vents and installing a ridge cap vent. hopefully in the next couple weeks we will have a new roof....

You get the best prices! Next time I'm looking at a major expense, I'm going to fly you out here, haha. Bet even paying for your ticket I would still save loads of money. :p

Mary... here is a hint to save money on home construction work... if you are in no real hurry for a specific job , such as a roof or painting, etc. contact a contractor that is a sub - contractor that works on building new home subdivisions. They might work on your project if and when they have a slow couple days, or just finished work at a subdivision and moving onto the next one and needs to keep his workers working and to be paid. Have fun while saving many $$$$s . :old
