Is it to last to plant potatoes in N. Ky or S. IN? Would like to plant some potatoes but not sure if it is too late to do so.
thanks

They do like it cool. It may not be too late but it might be too early? Not really sure if you can fall crop them or not. Lets see what the others have to say.

Mine are always summer potatoes. I don't know your weather, but here we can plant them now, at the latest.

It would be fun to try, even if you only got new potatoes, but you might get a nice crop, depending upon the weather, variety, and planting method.

Gppd luck! :)

Southern Indiana weather is warm and wet right now. I have always planted potatoes on Good Friday and had them in the summer. Didn't get to do that this year so I was wondering if I could plant them now and have them for this fall. I think I will try. Couldn't hurt.
