I have had great success with mini roses. They are Really tough!
My favorite carefree and smelly rose is my yellow (bush) knockout. I can smell it 10 ft away and the smell wafts into the garage when I am working there in the summer.
Blooms all summer.
Thrives with neglect.
I have lost more red roses that kicked the bucket than I care to admit.

Here are some of the roses from Breck’s catalogue. I love the purple one on the bottom right, but $40 plus shipping for one bare root is a lot. For me anyway. The ones at Tractor Supply and Costco were only $14!
