I started the squash in the house under flourscent shop lights. I planted them outside the first of April. I planted yellow crookneck, zuchinni, Lebanese white marrow and tromboncino. Today I picked 2 yellow squash, 2 zuchinni and 5 Lebanese white marrow squash. Total weight 6.6 pounds. I fried the yellow squash and one of the zuchinni and served with T-bone steaks. I picked dewberries and made cobbler. Tomorrow night I'll make zuchinni cobbler from the Lebanese white marrow squash.

I can't believe it. How hot is it there right now? My babies are starting to grow, it will be awhile yet.

Being very jealous at the moment-mine are not even in the ground. I must think of your climate in July and August to remember why I like New England.
